Verge (XVG) Launches 5.0 Codebase Alpha To Strengthening Nakamoto’s Vision

Shortly after unveiling the Vergecurrency (XVG) Blackpaper 5.0, Verge has announced the launch of Verge 5.0 Codebase Alpha.

In an announcement earlier today, Verge says the Codebase Alpha Release is now accessible on the blockchain’s repository.

The Codebase Alpha, according to the update, allows for substantial blockchain performance improvements, overall changed set of RPC commands (based on Bitcoins standard), and offers enhanced chain security.

Aside that, it improves CPU and Memory performance and reduces block indexing time by 89%.

However, Verge says it is not implementing SegWit and Lightning Network since Verge’s blockchain has “blocks created every 30 seconds and first confirmation usually occurs after 5–10 seconds”. Once the Codebase is perfect, Ring Confidential will follow.

Meanwhile, Verge is working on RSK implementation and it has perfected its base core, communication between new and old nodes, and has successfully integrated Tor.

While all these are completed, Verge is working on the completion of Stealth addressing and some other fixes.

Verge (XVG) Releases Blackpaper 5.0

Verge’s Blackpaper 5.0 is a reflection of Verge’s vision. The paper is presented to showcase the tailored transactional applications and inherent privacy implementations of the digital currency.

The blackpaper reflects Verge’s unwavering decision to strengthening Nakamoto’s vision of a decentralized electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof. It highlights core innovation of Verge and some unmatched implementation of the anonymous digital currency.

Verge (XVG): When Moon?

A lot of people who are into digital currency for short time gain do ask “when moon?”. This question is purposely asked to know when the digital currencies they are holding will move up in the table or have a magical rise in value.

The question “When moon?” is not limited to the Verge community alone, numerous crypto enthusiasts especially newbies, do ask this question. However, those who are in the digital currency space for future gain do not. Once the digital asset they are holding have future prospects, they relax and charge the core team to do more.

Verge’s core team are not relaxing at all. Different partnership were sealed last year. One remarkable partnership was that of PornHub. The collaboration birthed many success for Verge, one of them is NetCents’ gateway integration, among others.
