The DApp, known as “My Story” uses DNV GL’s expertise in data collection and verification services to provide a blockchain-based digital assurance solution.

At the launch, the Italian wine industry was the first to buy the idea. Soon after this, the top wine producers, Ruffino, Michele Chiarlo, Torrevento, and Ricci Curbastro were among the first to collaborate VeChain (VET) and DNV GL.

The DApp (My Story) serves as a traceability tool that lets customers trace the origin of products. For instance, there are QR codes on wine bottles. By scanning the codes, consumers can trace the manufacturing process of such wines. The essence is to discover the history of each bottle of wine; from grape to the finished product.

Massive Adoptions

Regardless of the fact that My Story was welcomed on the launch, three (3) wine producers in Italy took it upon themselves to set the DApp in motion. To this end, has started its job with Ruffino Wines, Ricci Curbastro and West Wind Wines. These Rome-based winemakers are unleashing the power of My Story in their wines. By this foregoing, consumers will have in-depth access to the authenticity, ingredients, and origin of wines.
