The XRP Community Wants XRP On Skype – What Are The Chances?

The XRP Community Wants XRP On Skype – What Are The Chances?

Things are about to get better for XRP users as the crypto now stands on the brink of going fully mainstream. For one, Ripple has been putting in a lot of efforts to net many partners and customers across various sectors in a bid to ensure that XRP stays afloat and popular.

Just recently, some XRP users suggested that XRP could be integrated with Skype. Skype’s Community Manager promised to present the idea to the Skype team, and now the Skype team is said to be drawing plans to integrate the crypto network into the telecommunication app.

XRP TipBot On Skype

If Skype flows through with the XRP community’s request, the most likely course of action would be to integrate the ready XRP TipBot into Skype. XRP TipBot allows for people to send small tips to each other on social media platforms. XRP is already integrated with Reddit, Twitter, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, among a few others.

In March, XRP was integrated into WooCommerce. WooCommerce is a first-class online market that supports more than 3 million websites. As such, its relation with XRP has worked greatly in fostering the crypto’s mass adoption. A further integration of XRP with Skype would expose the cryptocurrency to over 300 million users on Skype.

XRP Going Mainstream

Judging from both the past, recent, and current developments around Ripple and XRP, it’s not far-fetched to opine that XRP is on the way to achieving full mainstream adoption. The fact that some banks on Ripple’s RippleNet are already using XRP as the base currency for cross-border payments using the xRapid payment solution adds to that.

XRapid provides users with a fool-proof fast transaction processing system with perfect liquidity since the transactions on both ends are settled instantly. As such, Ripple as the developer company has earned praise and recognition for some of the most innovative solutions in the FinTech world. In fact, the company was recently recognized by the World Bank for developing innovative cross-border payments solutions. The coming integration of XRP into Skype will add to that, and it’s imminent.
