Aside being an eminent CEO of two important projects in the blockchain space, founder Justin Sun looks to be a serial philanthropist, credit to his incessant charity actions.

Tron (TRX) has well been a strategic partner of Binance exchange, but it extended its humanitarian effort by assisting the Binance’s charity scheme monetarily.

In furtherance of the above, Founder Justin Sun, according to an update on Weibo, declared his intention to donate a huge sum to support charity.

Sun in a translated statement by Coinness, said his two companies (Wavefield and BitTorrent) will be donating ¥100 million Chinese Yuan, circa $14.46 million, to back charity across the globe in the year 2019.

Wavefield is the name of the company behind Tron (TRX) blockchain technology.

While this remains an important milestone for both companies, it is also seen as a call to action for other CEOs and whales in the blockchain industry.

Justin Sun’s Charity Donation in 2018-2019 Records $7.817 Mln

The philanthropism of the CEO has been quite remarkable over the years. Aside the latest declaration, a released recently published by Tron (TRX) foundation revealed that the year 2018 and 2019 has been pretty outstanding for the serial enterpriser.

In the 2018, while Binance made moves to influence the less privilege lives through blockchain technology, Justin Sun supported the approach by donating $3 million to Binance Charity Fund.

In 2019, Sun stepped up his goodwill course with a sum of $250,000 he handed to the ALS Foundation. The ALS foundation was established to help fight and cure Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also referred to as motor neurone disease, an ailment which kills neurons controlling voluntary muscles.

Finally, the millennial CEO made a wowing move by supporting Glide Foundation with $4.567 million bid in the 20th annual charity auction for a “Power Lunch with Warren Buffet.

In association with the Memorial United Methodist Church, the San Francisco-based Glide Foundation is saddled with the responsibility of local services to the homeless.

In a great developmental move, Binance Charity Foundation crowned Justin Sun a Binance for Children ambassador.
